Once you check-in and freshen up you can start your tour with a boat ride at the Fateh Sagar Lake. The boat ride across the lake will make you fall in love with the city instantly. For today, head straight to the Sajjangarh Fort. This fort is nothing but a fairy tale castle perched on top of a distant hill. Originally the fort was an astronomical centre but eventually became the monsoon palace. Looming at a great height, the fort offers a birds-eye view of the city.

Just beneath the monsoon palace is the Sajjangarh Biological Park. The park houses a wide variety of wildlife and an electric car at your service takes you around the park. The main aim for the establishment of the park was to conserve endangered and threatened flora and fauna. In fact, within two months of its inauguration, the park received more than 46,000 visitors in a month, generating revenue of Rs.14 lakh for the forest department, which is a record in itself.

In the evening you can make your way to the City Palace. Built completely with marble and granite, it also has the appeal of beautiful marble, mirror, silver and inlays work. But the reason we visit the palace just before sunset is for the light show that takes place in its courtyard. The light show is one of its kinds and surely cannot be missed when in Udaipur.

After a fun-filled day, you can make your way to the hotel and enjoy your dinner and sleep.

Start your day with an early breakfast. Today you will be taking a road trip to Jodhpur. The distance to be covered is 250.6 km. and it will take around 4 hours and 27 minutes to reach Jodhpur by road.

For your first destination of Jodhpur, you will be taking a tour of the Mehrangarh Fort. This travel heritage speaks of utmost perfection. It crowns a rocky hill that rises 400 feet above the surrounding plain. One of the largest forts in Rajasthan, it contains some of the finest palaces and preserves in its museum many priceless relics of Indian courtly life.
