Jaisalmer

INTRODUCTION

The geography of Jaisalmer conjures up an image of desert mystique that is unlike any other in Rajasthan. Situated in the western side of the state, Jaisalmer is best known for Sonar Quila (Jaisalmer Fort), a golden mirage-like citadel that stands guard over this 12th century city. It comes as no surprise that Jaisalmer is known as the Golden City, because of the yellow sandstone that the fort and its surrounding havelis are constructed of. In the desert sun, Jaisalmer stands out like a crown in the Thar Desert.

Our Jaisalmer tours are designed to give you an immersive experience of the history of this city. Camel safaris and desert camping are just some of the activities we can help you plan. Whether you’re planning your honeymoon or travelling with family and friends, look no further than our itineraries mentioned below.
