    Day 2Sightseeing in Udaipur

Begin day 2 with a healthy breakfast and depart for the sightseeing of the day.

You will kick-start your day by visiting the Kumbhalgarh Fort. The fort is the second most important fort of Udaipur. It is said to be unconquerable as it is secured under the kind protection of the Aravalli ranges. In addition to that, it is known for its long walls and bags the title of the second longest wall in the world, the first being ”the Great Wall of China”.

The next attraction of your day is the Fateh Sagar Lake. The lake is famous for its boat ride and surely, it is one of the best experiences to have. This enormous water body is a must to experience while being in the middle of it. Just near the lake is the Nehru Garden, where you can head towards after the boat ride.

After the boat ride, make your way to the Sahelion Ki Bari. As per the legends, the garden was designed by the king himself and he presented this garden to his queen. The garden is famous for its lush green lawns, marble art and fountains.

End your day by retiring to your hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 3Travel Udaipur to Mount Abu (164.1 kms. / 2 hrs. 58 minutes)

Make sure you have an early breakfast because today you will be travelling to Mount Abu. The distance you need to cover is 164 kms and it should take you 2 hours and 58 minutes by road. Upon your arrival, complete your check-in process and head out to scout the city.

Your first destination of the day is the Guru Shikhar View Point. Standing at a height of 1722 meters, Guru Shikhar towers majestically over all the surrounding areas. It is a must-see tourist spot of Mount Abu.

The next attraction of Mount Abu is Achalgarh. Not many of us know, but the fort was built with the purpose to keep an eye on enemy movements. There is also a famous Shiv temple named Achaleshwar Mahadev Temple and Mandakini Lake within the complex of the fort.

Post your spiritual visit to the fort, you can head back to the hotel and catch up on some rest.

Post your breakfast routine, you can restart your city tour. The first destination of the day is the Mehrangarh Fort. Sitting on a rocky cliff, the fort came into existence one year after Rao Jodha’s accession to the throne. Today this magnificent fort is a living testimony that recounts the chronicles and legends of Jodhpur’s rich past. It still bares cannon marks that the fort once withstood.

The next destination in Jodhpur is the Mahamandir. Yoga lovers should definitely pay a visit to this place. The mandir is known to have a huge hall in its complex where Yoga classes are held. Now that’s an interesting thing for a mandir, right? Apart from yoga, the mandir is famous for the splendid piece of architecture, which is supported by fourteen pillars.

For your last attraction in the city, we have chosen the Moti Mahal. The Mahal, as the name suggests is the Pearl Hall where the royal families held their guests. In fact, it boasts of beautiful looking palatial room, with coloured window glasses and decorated ceilings, which is adorned with gold leaves, seashells and mirrors.
