    Udaipur is, however, a total opposite of Pushkar. Udaipur is romantic and scenic. Its lakes, the palaces and the forts are its pillars. It is called the “City of Lakes” and for a reason. The reason is the beauty and the beauty is something words can’t describe.

    ITINERARY DETAIL

    Day 1Arrival at the Jaipur Airport

    On your arrival at the Jaipur Airport, you will be given a cordial welcome by our associate and be accompanied to your hotel.

    After you have completed your check-in process, you can move out of the hotel to start with your city tour. Your first destination in Jaipur will be the magnum opus, City Palace.

    A fun fact about the City Palace is that although it reflects Rajput, Mughal and European architectural styles, the palace was designed to Vaastushastra treatise. Some of the famous gates are the Udai Pol, Jaleb Chowk, Tripolia Gate and Virendra Pol, which also happen to be the various entrances to the palace. Now you can imagine if a palace needs so many entrances, how huge the complex would be.

    Right outside the City Palace is the local market. The market offers a number of traditional products to choose from, on your shopping spree.

    End your day, by moving back to your hotel for some delicious dinner and a good night’s sleep.

    Day 2Sightseeing in Jaipur

    Begin your day with a healthy breakfast at the hotel. Post the meal, you will be heading to the Nahargarh Fort.

    The fort is known for its cycling expedition. On your cycle tour, you will witness unique combinations of Indian and European architectural styles at the fort. One of the best things to do in Jaipur is to explore this fort. In fact, you can also enjoy a quick bite at the open restaurant on the terrace of this palace.

    Your next destination is the Hawa Mahal, also known as the “Palace of Winds”. This palace is decorated with 953 windows or ‘jharokhas’ that are adorned with intricate designs. In addition to that, the palace also houses a museum that has famous paintings and armour.

    The final destination of your day is the Amber Fort. The fort includes a vast complex, built from yellow and pink sandstone and white marble. The complex is divided into four main sections and each has its own courtyard.

    After an adventurous day, head back to your hotel for a good night’s sleep.

    Day 3Travel Jaipur to Pushkar (146.3 kms. / 2 hrs. 52 minutes)

    On day 3, make sure you have an early breakfast because today you will be heading to Pushkar. The distance you need to cover is 146.3 kms and it should take you approximately 2 hours 52 minutes.

    Upon arrival, complete the check-in process and start with your city tour. The first destination in Pushkar is the Pushkar Ghats. The Ghats are simply a magnificent place to reckon with. In fact, their aura is one of the most fascinating sights in Pushkar. The sacred water at the Ghats is also believed to have great healing and purifying powers. The best idea is to try taking a dip and seeing what you feel like.

    To attain some more spirituality, it is time to go visit the Rangji Temple. The Rangji Temple dates back to 1823 and the temple boasts of high spiritual significance, till date. Lord Rangji is believed to be the incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Hence, the temple attracts a lot of devotees.

    After this religious tour in Pushkar, you can reach your hotel for dinner and night stay.

    Day 4Travel Pushkar to Udaipur (276.9 kms. / 5 hours)

    On day 4, you will head to Udaipur. So make sure you have an early breakfast and hit the road. It should take you around 5 hours to cover the 276.9 kms distance.

    After your arrival in the city, check into your hotel and take some rest. Post which, you can head out to visit the tourist attractions planned for you. The first destination is Fateh Sagar Lake.

    The lake is one of the many artificial lakes in Udaipur and is roughly about 1 square km in size. Motor boat rides are one of the most popular water sports offered at the lake. These boats take you around the lake and allow for an up-close view of the hills.

    After your boat ride, you can head to the Nehru Park, the boat shaped restaurant at the park is quite popular among the tourists and locals.

    Post this entertaining day, you will be escorted to your hotel for the night stay.

    Day 5Sightseeing in Udaipur

    For day 5, we have planned some exciting places for you to visit. So, just after your breakfast, you can start with the tour.

    The first place for today is the Kumbhalgarh Fort. The fort is known as the “Crowing Glory of Rajasthan”. The huge complex of the fort has numerous palaces, temples and gardens that make it appear even more magnificent. The fort is also known for its famous palace that resides on the top of structure. This beautiful palace is known as “Badal Mahal” or the “Palace of Cloud”.

    After visiting the fort, head to the Sahelion Ki Bari garden. The architecture of Sahelion Ki Bari is something that will mesmerize you. The beautifully carved marble pavilion is a major attraction of this beautiful park. Once you get inside it, the romantic ambiance of the park will take over.

    The next destination on your list is the Ambrai Ghats. Ambrai Ghats is a door to a charming background. You can just go there and relax on the marble benches for a while, with the amazing view of the Jag Mandir and the cool breeze of the Lake Pichola.

    You can now retire for the day and catch up on some sleep.

    Day 6Sightseeing in Udaipur

    Start your day with the breakfast routine and then head out to enjoy your last day in the city.

    The first destination of the day is the vintage car museum. It is a must-visit for car lovers. The museum showcases antique and heritage cars. It was initially the Mewar State Motor Garage and then eventually turned into a museum.

    Your next checkpoint is Badi Lake. The lake covers an area of 155 square kilometres. The place has beautiful flora and fauna which makes you feel connected directly to nature. You can sit near the shore for hours and can adulate the charm of lakes. Also, do not forget to click on some beautiful pictures.

    Before you end your day, visit the Bagore Ki Haveli. The most interesting highlight of the place is that the world’s largest turban resides at the Haveli. It stands magnificently on the waterfront of the tranquil Lake Pichola. In addition to that, to maintain its old charm, several royal family members were consulted and the Haveli was restored using local and traditional skills.
