    ITINERARY DETAIL

    Day 1Arrival at Udaipur Airport

    When you arrive at Udaipur Airport, your representative will greet you and accompany you to your hotel. After wrapping up your check-in process and maybe a power nap, you can start with your city tour.

    The first attraction point in Udaipur will be the Fateh Sagar Lake. The lake is named after Maharana Fateh Singh and was constructed in the 1680s. In fact, within the confines of the Fateh Sagar Lake, there are three small islands; Nehru Park, small Public Park with a water-jet fountain and the third island is where the Udaipur Solar Observatory is located. Apart from this, you can also take a boat ride across this vast artificial lake and enjoy the scenic beauty being right in the middle of the lake.

    Day 2Sightseeing in Udaipur

    Begin your day with a healthy breakfast and then head out in the city to visit some more attraction points.

    You will start with the City Palace of Udaipur today. The palace is a vast complex that houses a number of courtyards, gardens and mini palaces inside its compound. The highlight of the City Palace is its architecture. The blend of European, Rajput and Mughal architectural styles are a treat to your eyes. The palace is said to be the pride of the city and it greets numerous tourists each day.

    Your next attraction is the Kumbhalgarh Fort. The fort personifies the spirit and grandeur of Rajasthan more than any other fort in the state. It was Maharana Kumbha who undertook the construction of this architectural marvel in the 15th century, now it is a UNESCO World Heritage site. In fact, it is said that the fort was never conquered by any enemy even after multiple attempts.

    The final destination in the city is a place to relax. We are talking of the Sahelion Ki Bari gardens. Even though it is just a garden, it has a number of attractions within its complex.     Day 3Travel Udaipur to Jodhpur (250.6 km. / 4 hours 29 minutes)

    Today you will be taking a road trip towards Jodhpur. Your destination is 250.6 km. away and it should roughly take you around 4 hours 29 minutes to reach Jodhpur. So make sure you have an early breakfast and begin your journey to your next city.

    Upon your arrival in Jodhpur, complete your check-in process at the hotel and after you are well rested, you can head out to explore the city.

    Your first destination of the day is the Mehrangarh Fort. The fort is a spectacle of grandeur and magnificence. Sitting on a rocky cliff, the fort came into existence one year after Rao Jodha’s accession to the throne. Now it is one of the largest forts in India. In addition to that, what you must look out for is the view from the top, it overlooks at the entire city covered in shades of blue.

    Day 4Sightseeing in Jodhpur

    On day 4, you will begin your day with a Yoga session at the Mahamandir. So, after your breakfast at the hotel, you must directly head towards Mahamandir.

    The place was built in 1812 but it still stands tall owing to the 84 pillars that it is built on. Each pillar depicts intricate carvings and fresco work of Yogic postures. An enormous hall is specially designed for Yoga classes that still take place at the Mahamandir. You can definitely go ahead and try your hand at some yoga techniques to stay fit and healthy.

    After attaining some knowledge on Yoga, you will make your way towards the Ghanta Ghar. This clock tower is located right in the middle of a busy road, but it is worth a visit. Ghanta Ghar was constructed by the Late Shri Sardar Singh Ji of Jodhpur and now is an important landmark of the city. You must visit it for its constructive beauty and marvellous design.

    Your next destination is Kaylana Lake. Where the lake now lies, was once an area that had palaces and gardens of two rulers of Jodhpur. They were destroyed to construct the Kaylana Lake. It is an ideal picnic spot for tourists and it offers a breath-taking view of the sunset.

    Later on, you can head back to your hotel for the night stay.

    Day 5Travel Jodhpur to Jaisalmer (284.1 km. / 4 hours)

    After an early breakfast, you will be travelling to Jaisalmer. The distance you need to cover is 284.1 km. and it should take you approximately 4 hours to reach your destination, by road.

    You can reach your hotel and after you are well rested, you can move out to explore the city. Your first attraction will be the adventure sports activity at the Thar Desert. You can choose from a vast variety of sports that Jaisalmer offers. There is Quad Biking, Parasailing, Dune Bashing, Camel Safari etc. to pick from. Be it any sport that you freeze on, the amount of thrill will be the same.

    After some adventure activities, do visit the local market of the Jaisalmer. The Jaisalmer market is famous for handicrafts and earthly goods.

    Day 6Sightseeing in Jaisalmer

    Today you will begin sightseeing with the Jaisalmer Fort. So, once you are done with your breakfast routine, head out to start with the tour.

    The Jaisalmer Fort is locally known as the Sonar Quila. It is one of the most magnificent monuments in the city of Jaisalmer. The fort stands proudly in the middle of the unending golden sands of Thar Desert and is the most prominent tourist attractions of the city. In fact, it is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

    Your next destination in the city will be the Salim Singh Ki Haveli. Salim Singh Ki Haveli was built in 1815 by Salim Singh, the prime minister of the kingdom when Jaisalmer was the capital. The noteworthy features of the mansion are its 38 balconies and peacock shaped roof.

    Post visiting the Haveli, you will head towards the Gadisar Lake. Gadisar Lake has been a landmark lake of the city. One can see the beautiful and magnificent Jaisalmer Fort from this lake. It is also a great location for birdwatchers because you can often spot beautiful migratory birds at the lake.

    You can then make your way back to the hotel and start packing for your departure the next day.
