Kuldhara

Revered as one of the most haunted places in Rajasthan; also one of the haunted places in the country, Kuldhara was once the home of the Paliwal Brahmins in Jaisalmer. An abandoned village, it is located around 20km from the heart of the Golden City, and attracts daredevils from across the world.

According to the legends, this desert town was cursed by its inhabitants who fled their homeland to escape the wrath and evil-eyes of the Diwan of Jaisalmer. Tucked away with mystery and folklores, the town still lies barren with no signs of human establishments and activities.<
