National Research Centre on Camel

Though the great Thar Desert is filled with glorious monuments, royal palaces, natural marvels, and lot more, it is simply incomplete with the camels. Fondly called the ‘Ship of the Desert’, camels are in fact a synonym to the arid deserts, and when it is about Bikaner, the city takes the pride of being the abode of the largest research centres for camels.

Located only 8km from the city limits, the National Research Farm in Bikaner is the perfect place for visitors to learn more about these gentle mammals. Visitors can also enjoy camel riding, desert safari, visit a Camel Museum, and several other exciting activities while visiting this farm.
