Vijay Stambha

The Victory Tower or Vijay Stambha is one of the most remarkable monuments is Chittorgarh Fort. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, this glorious tower was built by Rana Kumbha, the king of Mewar, to commemorate his victory over Mahmud Khilji.

A nine-storeyed tower that is adorned with detailed artistic works, idols of various Hindu Gods and Goddesses, Vijay Stambha was built partially with red and white sandstones. On climbing to the top of this tower, visitors can enjoy enthralling views of almost the entire city.
