Day 1Arrival in Delhi

Originating from the historic city of Delhi, this Classical North India Tour will begin with your arrival at the airport. As you step on the national capital of India, out tour guides and executives will greet you at the airport and get you checked-in into a hotel; rest of the day will be spent at leisure followed by your overnight stay.

Day 2City Tour of Old and New Delhi

Today morning, after you enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, you will be guided for a historical tour around both Old and New Delhi. Within this tour, you will get to witness the rustic as well as contemporary outlook of the capital city of India!

During the day, you will be visiting popular landmarks and historical sites like Shanti Vana (cremation ground of Jawaharlal Nehru), Shanti Vana (cremation ground of Mahatma Gandhi), Chandni Chowk and Red Fort. Post this ; by afternoon, you will be visiting India Gate, QutubMinar, and the historic Humayun’s Tomb. Governmental building like RashtrapatiBhavan (President’s House) and Parliament House will also be visited during this part of the day. Other attractions include Connaught Place and AkshardhamMandir; post these visits, you will be dropped back at the hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 3Flight from Delhi to Jaipur

With today’s morning drive, you will be stepping onto the magical lands of the great Thar Desert, and your journey here will begin from the Pink City of Jaipur. Arriving in this royal city, our tour representatives will assist you in settling down in a hotel; rest of the day will be spent at leisure followed by overnight stay.

Day 4Full Day Jaipur City Tour

On this day, you will get to enjoy the royal charm and imperial beauty of Rajasthan’s bygone era with a full-day city tour of Jaipur. After your breakfast in the hotel, our tour guides will pick you up and drive you to the glorious Amber Fort and Palace. Visit this historic establishment, adore its marvellous architecture, and take the fun-frolic of the day further with an elephant ride during your visit.

Ascending down from the fort; by afternoon, you will be taken to the City Palace that stands as a true testimony of the royalty and grandeurs of Rajasthan. Post this, you will be visiting the Central Museum, JantarMantar, and Hawa Mahal within the city-limits of Jaipur. Completing this tour, you will be driven back to the hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 5Drive from Jaipur to Agra (via Fatehpur Sikri)

Enjoy a hearty breakfast in the morning, and wind up your yourself for an exhilarating drive to the magnificent city of Agra. On your way to the city of the Taj Mahal, you will be visiting the historical city of Fatehpur Sikri that was once the centre of power among the Mughal rulers in India.

Though on ruins, Fatehpur Sikri still showcases the charm and allurement of a bygone era in the most bucolic ways! Explore the bits and crunches of history by visiting Diwan-e-Khas, SalimChisti Tomb and BulandDarwaza before continuing your drive to Agra. Your arrival in Agra will be followed by your checking-in into a hotel; rest of the day will be at leisure followed by your overnight stay.

Day 6Full Day Agra City Tour

Today morning, all your dreams will come true with a visit to the wonderful Taj Mahal. Revered as one of the Seven Wonders of the World, this mausoleum was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife Muumtaz Mahal. Visit this grand establishment or the eternal symbol of love under the flamboyance of the golden sunrays, and get soaked with its enchanting beauty!

Post this; by afternoon, you will guided to the historic Agra Fort from where you can enjoy amazing views of the Taj Mahal standing graciously on the banks of the Yamuna River. Post this visit, you will be driven back to the hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 7Train Journey form Agra to Jhansi, Drive from Jhansi to Khajuraho (via Orchha)

Today, our Classical North India Tour convoy will board an early morning train to Jhansi; the Shatabdi Express, and will embark on a road journey from Jhansi to the mystical lands of Khajuraho! On your way to Khajuraho, you will be visiting a historical site called Orchha that is a home to several historical and religious establishments. On the list of today’s attractions, there will be the Bundela School of Painting, Jehangir Mahal, Raj Mahal, Raj Praveen Mahal, Chaturbhuj Temple, Orchha Palace and Laxmi Narayan Temple.

With the completion of your visit to all these Orchha attractions, the convoy will drive you towards the final destination of the day. Following your arrival in Khajuraho, our tour representatives will assist you in settling down into a hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 8Half Day Khajuraho City Tour, Train Journey from Khajuraho to Varanasi

During the first half of this day, you will be picked up from the hotel and guided for an astounding half-day tour around Khajuraho. Attractions of the day will include the pious Lord Vishnu Temple, Laxmi and Varaha temples, KandariyaMahadev Temple, and Chausath Yogini Temple. The day will also include a visit to the Archaeological Museum that has large collection of stone sculptures dating back to Chandela dynasty of Khajuraho.

With the completion of this half-day city tour, our Classical North India Tour convoy will board a train from Khajuraho for an overnight journey to the holy city of Varanasi. Known to be one of the most ancient cities in India, Varanasi stands on the banks of the holy Ganges, and is a major pilgrimage site among the Hindus across the globe. Enjoy the train journey, and expect to reach your destination by early morning, next day.

Day 9Arrival in Varanasi, Full Day Varanasi Sightseeing Tour

The day will begin with your early morning arrival in Varanasi; following your arrival, our tour representatives will assist you in checking-in into a hotel where you can relax till afternoon. As the sun reaches overhead, you will be picked up from your hotel room and guided to the Banaras Hindu University which is revered as the largest residential university in the entire of Asia. Within the university, you can also visit Bharat Kala Mandir and learn more about the art and culture of ancient India.

Post this, you will be visiting the Golden Temple of Lord Shiva, Durga Temple which is also called the Monkey Temple due to large number of monkeys found within the vicinity. Come evening, you can enjoy an astounding boat ride across the holy Ganges and visit various ghats and religious site across Varanasi. Completing these visits, you will be dropped at the hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 10Brief Sarnath Excursion, Flight Journey from Varanasi to Delhi

Waking up in the morning, our tour representatives will guide you for a quick and brief excursion to the sacred town of Sarnath which is touted as the birthplace of Buddhism in India. Lord Buddha delivered His first discourse in the Deer Park and founded the ‘Wheel of Dharma’ in Sarnath.

Post this auspicious visit, you will be driven to Varanasi Airport, from where our team will board a flight back to Delhi. Arriving in the national capital of Delhi, you will be checked-in into a hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 11Departure from Delhi; Tour Ends Here

With today’s breakfast, you will be at the last leg of our Classical North India Tour! Following your morning meal, out tour representatives will pick you up from the hotel and get you dropped at the Delhi Airport for your onward journey; with this, this tour and our services will come to an end.
