ITINERARY DETAIL
- Welcome to the Land of the Kings, Rajasthan. After arrival at Udaipur Airport, claim baggage and get to the exit gate where you will meet our representative.
- Get a smooth transfer from the airport to your pre-booked hotel in Udaipur. Check-in, relax and visit the very first attraction on your itinerary that is Udaipur City Palace. This city palace is 450 years old and was the former residence of the rulers of Mewar. Built in Rajasthani Rajput architecture, you get panoramic views of the city from this palace.
- After sightseeing, you may explore some cafes, go shopping or visit an arts and crafts emporium. Later, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
- Have a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel and go for an Udaipur excursion with us.
- The very first attraction for Day 2 is Kumbhalgarh Fort Fort. You have probably seen this fort in the period dramas of Bollywood. It has imposing walls that provide fortification to the temples inside. Its frontal walls are 4.5 m (15 ft) high. This fort is also known as the ‘Great Wall of India’ and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Then hop on a motorboat/regular boat and cruise on the waters of Fateh Sagar Lake. Boating on lake is amongst top tourist activities to do in Udaipur.
- Later, get in the cable car and enjoy the bird’s eye view of Mansapurna Karni Mata Ropeway. The ropeway ride is 387 meters long and begins at Machhala Hill Top and ends at Deendayal Upadhyay Park in Udaipur.
- Head to the hotel and stay the night.
- Post breakfast, our representative will transfer you to Mount Abu from Udaipur. The entire journey is of about 3 hours, covering a distance of 163.9 km.
- Leaving behind the lakes of Udaipur, you will head towards the only hill-station in Rajasthan, i.e. Mount Abu. Check-in the hotel and relax. Later in the evening, go out to explore the markets of Mount Abu.
- Have an early breakfast and begin your sightseeing tour in Mount Abu. Catch the amazing vistas of Aravali hills from the Guru Shikhar viewpoint. It is a good viewpoint for couples, families, and photographers.
- Next, we will visit Dilwara Jain Temples belonging to Śvētāmbara sect of Jainism. The temple is built with pure white marble and features intricate marble carvings. There are a total five Dilwara temples dedicated to different tirthankar in Jainism.
- Afterwards, we will visit the Achalgarh fort which was built by Paramara dynasty rulers and later renovated by Maharana Kumbha. Unlike other majestic forts of Rajasthan this fort is somewhat in a dilapidated condition. There are two entrances to the fort Hanumanpol (the first gate) and the second gate is Champapol.
- After a long day of sightseeing, walking and soaking in the beauty and culture of Mount Abu, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
- Gobble on a nice spread of breakfast buffet and have your fill. Pack your bags and get ready for check out.
